The money is real. The noise is too.

For business owners, not tech people. Three minutes. All figures cited below.

1. The money is real

NVIDIA just booked 96.2 billion dollars in revenue in a single quarter. That isn't hype — it's capex. It means AI gets better every quarter for years.

The gap for businesses like yours was never access. It's execution: most companies can buy the same tools. Almost none of them have someone who makes them work Tuesday morning.

2. Some of the noise is manufactured

This week an investigation — reported by Diamandis' briefing — identified a bot farm of roughly 200,000 fake accounts pushing the story that "AI data centers are driving up your electricity bill." Not one real complaint: an organized campaign.

The lesson isn't about energy. It's that the loudest takes online are often paid for. When someone tells you AI is a scam or AI will solve everything, ask what the source has to gain.

3. The cost of running AI keeps falling

OpenAI's own custom chip is coming online, and the price of running a serious AI workload is now a fraction of what it was a year ago.

The model is the cheapest part of the stack. The system around it — built, run, and maintained — is where the value lives. Buy the system, not the model.

One thing worth doing this week

Pick the one task that takes your time but not your judgment — the thing you'd hand to anyone. Write down what happens to it today, start to finish. That two-minute note is the start of every real automation, and it's the first question we ask in an audit.
